PLEASE READ THIS COLUMN CAREFULLY.
This is the last week of regular classes for this season. Please attend your rehearsal on Saturday, May 10, 2:30 for the 2 p.m. recital, and 4:00 for the 5 p.m. recital. These rehearsals are at the Lincoln St. studio.
REMINDER: Please purchase new tights from me at the studio for recitals so all dancers will be uniform in color, etc.
COSTUMES: Will be passed out the weeks of April 28, and May 5. Account balance must be 00 in order for a student to try on and take home her costumes. Please make sure this is taken care of on time.
RECITAL TICKETS: Available now and will be available until the recital performances. Please ask family and friends to attend so the dancers can have a large, appreciative audience. We are doing the story baller: Sleeping Beauty, with the tap and jazz with music based on other fairy tales. The early show, at 2 p.m, is Dancing Through the School Year, with dances such as Lunch, Recess, Field Trip, May Day, etc. Prices for the 2 p.m. show are: $10 for adults, and $8 for children 10 and under. For the 5 p.m. show, adults are $12, and $8 for children under 10. Tickets must be paid for when you pick them up.
RECITAL T-SHIRTS: Must be ordered by May 10, and be prepaid. Cost is $15 for child sizes, and $20 for adult sizes, with an extra $1 for each additional x in a size.
PRE-REGISTRATION: If you register for next season before our recitals, the cost is only $10 per student. After recital on May 18, the registration fee is $25 per student.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS COMING TO CLASS PREPARED WITH THE PROPER CLOTHING AND SHOES REQUIRED FOR THE TYPE OF CLASS. BALLET SHOES MUST BE PINK WITH ELASTIC, TAP SHOES MUST BE TAN WITH BUCKLE STRAPS, AND JAZZ SHOES MUST BE BLACK SLIP-ON TYPE.
